Oil Service
Oil service is the most fundamental of all services performed on your car. Oil services are performed
every 3-10,000 miles, depending on driving conditions, car model, and age. In addition to regular oil
services, a few seconds checking your car each time you drive is time well spent.
Daily Check
- Warning lights and messages: BMW and Mercedes cars are some of the most
sophisticated automobiles on the road. Both manufacturers provide extensive problem
notification systems. When a warning light or message appears, check your owner's manual
or call German Motors. Warning lights do not necessarily mean a major problem exists, but
you should identify and resolve the cause as soon as you can.
- Temperature: Never ignore sudden changes in engine temperature. If the temperature needle
enters the red zone, pull over and turn off the engine as soon as it is safe. Contact German
Motors whenever overheating occurs.
- Tires: Visually check your tires for slight changes in pressure. Check tire pressure every few
weeks with a tire gauge. If a tire loses pressure regularly, have it inspected by a tire shop.
